On 5 May 2018, Marie-Helen Aavakivi (violin) ja Ralf Taal (piano) play Tubin’s Three Pieces for violin and piano ETW 48 in the Pärnu St. Elizabeth Church within the framework of concerts “Musica Sacra”. On 8 May, they play the same program in the Tallinn Methodist Church.

Estonian radio will be broadcasting the concert on 9 March from the Estonia concert hall, where Estonian State Symphony Orchestra and Arvo Leibur with Leif Segerstami conducting perform Tubin’s ”Suite on Estonian folk tunes” for violin and symphony orchestra.

Volumes XIV and XV published
We are happy to announce that volumes XIV and XV of the Eduard Tubin Complete Works are out now. Volumes include the full scores and piano scores of composer’s double bass concerto as well as balalaika concerto. In addition, the piano score of the first movement of the unfinished cello concerto is published in volume XV.
The editors of the volumes are Edward Jurkowski and Reet Marttila.
