Paavo Järvi conducted Eduard Tubin’s Music for Strings and Suite from the ballet The Goblin in Pärnu.

On July 14, 2021, Eduard Tubin’s “Music for String Instruments” and a suite from the ballet “Kratt” performed by the Estonian Festival Orchestra conducted by Paavo Järvi at the Pärnu Concert Hall.
On July 30, Postimees published an interview by Heili Sibrits with Paavo Järvi, “If we don’t dream, nothing will happen for sure”. In this interview, they also discussed Tubin’s oeuvre.

Volume XXIII of the Eduard Tubin Complete Works published

We are happy to announce that volume XXIII of the Eduard Tubin Complete Works is out now. The volume includes Sonata for alto saxophone and piano, Sonata for viola and piano, Sonata for flute and piano, Troubadour song from the 13th century, and Pastorale.

The editors of the volume are Reet Marttila and Piret Väinmaa.

Tubin works performed in Tubin museum

On January 10, Tubin’s Sonata for solo violin ETW 57, Sonatine in D minor ETW 39, and Ballad for Violin and Piano ETW 52 were performed at the Tubin Museum as part of the concert “Tubin and Beethoven”. The works were performed by Leevi Rosin (violin) and Elle-Riin Volmer (piano).
