On 10-15 July the internationally known Turkish conductor and violinist Hakan Sensoy led a masterclass of 41 students learning various instruments in Kas, Antalya. Sensoy was the first Turkish musician to discover Tubin’s music. Among the pieces performed during the masterclass were Tubin’s Elegy and Sonata for violin and piano in Phrygian key.

Volumes XXVII and XXVIII published
We are happy to announce that volumes XXVII and XXVIII of the Eduard Tubin Complete Works are out now. Volumes include the full scores and piano scores of the composer’s ballet “Kratt” (“The Goblin”). In addition, the piano score of the ballet “Siurulind” (“Wonderbird”) is published in volume XXVIII.
The editors of the volumes are Lauri Sirp and Mart Humal.
